Cute room, very compact but perfect for the landing spot we needed in the right location, close to metro and the buzz of Virus Montreal. Modern bathroom and great products in the shower. We liked this spot!

Had I seen the outside of the hotel, i would never have booked it. However, it was dark when we arrived and so it went unseen (although there was plenty of scaffolding). The staff when we arrived were helpful and kind. I chose too small a room (my bad - 17). BUT the towels were soft and fluffy; the room spotlessly clean and the shower had plenty of hot water. Finally, the bed was very comfy! A very central location.

Hotel is undergoing a lot of renovations and was hard to spot from the street for car pick up and drop off. Room was small and sparse but bathroom was nice. Guy next to us moaned half the night and sang weird songs to himself. Bizarre.

Good location. No one at the front desk when we arrived. Waited 15 minutes then called - she had taken guests to show them where to park. Wrote our room numbers and a code for door on a scrap of paper. Our bathroom sink had no hot water. No bath towels provided. Had to ask for some at front desk. Next morning waited for receptionist so we could lock up our luggage. Finally called and heard the cell ring in the desk. Eventually a receptionist walked in. We decided not to lock up our luggage and just took it with us as receptionist availability was entirely unreliable. I do NOT recommend The Lift!
