My stay was excellent, very comfortable and welcoming. The best part about this hotel is the owner and the host, both very responsive to my requests during my stay and helpful. The hotel is within walking distance to the Old Port area, grocery, and convenience stores. The area os safe, and quiet during the night. I would highly recommend.
We stayed in the Studio apartment when in Montreal for an evening. It was a lovely space and great location! It was clean and super comfortable. The staff were super responsive to our questions and were easily accessible!! We will definitely stay here in the future, thank you for a great experience!
The room was very nicely decorated and there is a lovely courtyard in the back. The hosts were responsive and helpful. The bed was comfortable and although we didn't use all of the amenities, it was well appointed.
The host (Michaël) was so friendly and helpful. Very quiet stay and the secret garden is a peaceful place to relax. Great stay in Griffintown if you want something "particulier".
We ended up not getting the room we booked because of a hokey tournament, but we got a nice cozy room and the guys who run the place made it right. Can’t ask for more than that.
Beautiful hotel with beautiful staff. If you are looking for a chill space without all of the street traffic and hustle, this is your spot. My favourite part about this hotel is the secret garden patio. You could spend hours there. The rooms are also much more spacious and unique than the average hotel. Thank you for a beautiful stay, I would absolutely recommend this hotel!
My husband and I stayed here for one night and had an amazing experience. The owner and his son were extremely helpful, accommodating, and friendly; greeting us upon arrival and helping us with getting settled in. They were always available to answer any questions we had right away! The building is unique and beautiful even in the winter. Our room was very cozy and clean. The location is also very convenient for walking or a short uber downtown. We will definitely stay here again when we are visiting Montreal. 10/10
Comfortable and simple hotel (not sure if this qualifies as a hotel in the true sense) for families. We are two adults and a grown child needing a separate bed and this fit our requirements perfectly. Room was comfortable and warm. Beds and other amenities were good. Only issue I had was the carpet smelled when it got wet near the door. And because it was a tad cold, we couldnt open the window. Paid parking is off campus, in a nearby condo that needs to be booked in advance which I did not do, but the owner/manager was very kind to allow me to use it at a flat fee (unlimited in/out). Very close to downtown Montreal, a short drive or an easy walk from Eaton Centre Montreal and other places in the business district. Also close to McGill.
We were in Montreal to watch the Canadiens versus Winnipeg Jets. This location is a very short walk to the Bell Centre. You're also a short walk to Old Montreal. The location cannot be beat. I plan to return to Montreal this fall (Grands Prix Cyclistes de Montreal) and this is where I hope I can find a vacancy. I loved it. While I was there, they were making some improvements in the main entranceway... and that's the only reason why I couldn't give them five stars.
This was the perfect stay for our Montreal trip. The host was very friendly and acommodating to our later checkin time. The double bedroom was clean, comfortable, and well-designed. Great value for money. Highly recommend!
Nice place but don’t expect modern architecture. Low ceilings so 6FT tall beware. Walking distance to the Bell Centre and downtown activities.
Would go back again.
Each room was like having your own separate apartment over 3 stories. Bedroom was on the top floor with a living room, small dining room and kitchen. There are a bunch of cool cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Very cool spot!
a great location and a fun place to stay. Heated, sheltered patio so that garden is usable even in November. Only drawback was that Ottawa Street was all dug up - being repaved. Still, highly recommended
Photos are NOTHING like this place. Very deceptive marketing. It is run down, shabby & not as per the reviews (scroll to poor reviews & other sites). A large centipede floating in the toilet & broken glass in cupboard . . . the list could go on.
I was staying there for 1 night. It is an old suite, with lots of space for 3 to 6 people. The rooms would need renovation. Cheap furnitures. Bathroom need towel holder and maybe a small shelf for toileteries. The room was freezing whwn I entered. Took me a while to adjust heating to 21 deg C (it was 17 deg C when I got in). Confortible matress. Lots of window, but not enough curtains, so it was fairly lit in the morning. Old sofa not confortible. Need a better table for lunching or working.
First of all there was NOBODY around at check in so we had to find our way around.
Secondly there were no utensils except a bunch of forks.
Third the air conditioning was not working as it was missing a battery so I had to replace it with a new battery.
If you want to rent something cheap in the heart of Montreal then this is your place. However you get what you pay for.
