This was our 7th stay at iberostars in jamaica. 8th overall. My past reviews have all been 5 star. This was not. We understand they are recovering from a major hurricane but downgrading us from a king to 2 queens(felt like we were sharing a full all week) is not my idea of a romantic getaway. Our king room ac was not funtional (sheets were damp, room smelled like mildew). We tried havimg them change sheets and fix ac. This did not work. Finally Barrington(thank god for him) got us into a dry room(although small beds). If you advertise you are fully operational and you take our hard earned money(we save all year for this) we expect to get what we paid for. We may try another Iberostar in the future but it probably wont be the grand in jamaica

What a gem! We loved it here. The food was great. The location is close to the airport but still very secluded. The room was amazing and we LOVED the private beach. Overall an amazing place to stay whether it’s for a short trip or a longer one.

This was a lovely resort! We will definitely go back for our anniversary. The staff was very friendly and the food at the buffet was delicious. We had ocean view room and the view was amazing. Really liked the vibe and quietness of the resort with it being all adults. Only issue is that some people smoke outside near the pool bar and that ruins the mood. The beach is beautiful and well maintained, and there was plenty of seating. And the drinks were excellent! All of the bartenders were amazing and every drink was strong.

Clean rooms, big balconies, a nice selection of good food. Lovely pools and beach area. We walked down to the other properties and felt like the rose hall had the nicest beach area. Nice cabana and beach loungers. Umbrellas. Attentive staff. Service pool and beach side. Pretty much everything you could ask for. Drinks were full strength I know sometimes people think it’s watered down. Good music. Entertainment. I wish I would have known about the app before hand so I could explore amenities and menus prior. Overall great vacation nice people. We Avoid signing up for the timeshare schpeel, they might offer you free stuff in lieu of your time to hear about timeshare.

The room was beautiful, with butler service that was super nice. We did not like most of the food, too oily, too greasy, felt like a mass production, no taste, swimming in sauces. The drinks were so so, they did not have any mint the entire 5 days we were there to make drinks. Most drinks were too sweet. Very often they ran out of wine, they ran out of food as well, 3 days they ran out of smoked salmon in the morning, in the afternoons, they ran out of lamb chops at lunch. They also did not have dinner buffet at our hotel most evenings, we had to go to the sister resort for dinner buffet. It really did not feel like a 5 star resort. We spend a lot of money and were very disappointed. We were there for New Year's Eve and it did not feel festive or holiday vibes like some other resorts we have stayed at for the holidays. Decorations were minimal. Will not return and would not recommend to anyone. We visited a store there and purchased few items that I had a very difficult time returning. The store stated that they have no refund policy, that was not listed anywhere in the store. Very sad and fraudulent. Eventually they honored the return after we got the managers involved.
