It is about a 20 second walk to the MAIN METRO line (Line B) which goes directly to the Colloseum and other points of interest. Also, if you're coming from airport or train station, the B line goes directly to the metro station outside. This is super convenient and safe. While you can stay in a place closer to the action, I found it preferable to take the short metro directly the hotel without having to walk in a shady...
