We stayed at this hotel for the 3rd time, everytime another room and experience. Pity that 5 persons apartment was not in main building and without bath and tea facilities. Beds were excellent, far better than regular hotels. River view is also very nice. Half board is a good add on but slightly expensive.

Ideally located within this small village. Staff were very friendly and we were able to park a few hundred yards up the road. The restaurant was lovely and we had a great breakfast. We stayed in a suite/family room. It was clean and a great space, but very dated and could do wuth a refresh. Felt like it was in the 80s. But that said we had a good stay and would go back.

Very good service, very nice and friendly management, A-location. Rooms however are a bit outdated. Bed was fine, but power outlets were inconvenienced placed (no outlets near the bed in my room). Overall I would recommend this hotel.

Great hotel in Monschau, Germany

This is a really nice hotel in a great location in Monschau with a beautiful view from the balcony. A very unique hotel with great service, nice room and the hotel breakfast and restaurant were excellent.

Beautiful hotel in amazing location

The hotel is gorgeous and the location in Monschau is absolutely perfect. I had an amazing view of the lake and the church from my room. The breakfast could have been better, and the blankets were a bit small, but everything else was great.

We arrived with children in the cold and rain outside the hotel at 9.24 pm - admittedly late due to unforeseen heavy traffic through Belgium and in appalling weather and driving conditions. The hotel was closed: there were no staff at the hotel , no provided emergency number / no message provided for us despite we’d paid almost £200 for the night in advance. We phoned the hotel number about 15 times - no answer. A resident upstairs in the building heard us and kindly spoke to us and showed us a copy of the check in notice which said the hotel was open for check ins until 4.45 pm - this contrasted with the published check in closure time of 9 pm. We were left abandoned looking for another hotel - finally found a welcome at Michel and friends around 11 pm. On return to Horchem the following morning, the front door was still closed . We could not enter still and again were abandoned outdoors. There were no staff, again no message for us, no breakfast. Only a note on the door for a courier to drop a parcel. No effort was made by the hotel to contact us or check in on us or our welfare during the whole experience. It was a shockingly poor welcome and clear taking of our money under false pretences. Such a pity as the hotel from outside looks really beautiful.

Really nice little place and very price worthy especially out of season. Comfortable room and could bring the dog without extra charge. In the middle of the picturesque village. Quite a quirky drive in to the village so would t recommend longer vehicles to take that route. Nice place

아침식사가 제공되어서 좋았습니다 ^^ 아이가 둘인 가족이 머무는거라 방두개 거실있는 곳 이용했어요 마을 골목길이 내려다 보여서 좋았습니다 동네가 작고 예쁜데 호텔이 가장 중심부여서 돌아다니기도 편했어요 ~ 날 좋을 때 테라스에서 커피한잔해도 좋을 것 같아요 특히 조식 먹을 때 직원 두분이 참 친절하셔서 좋았습니다 :)
