"I was pleasantly surprised with this property based on the review ratings on some sites. Most of the room and lobby/hall areas have been updated. That being said, there were missing knobs in the elevators, older toilet seats and tubs, and ceiling paint issues (ina couple of areas). Also, there was no bar or restaurant open in the middle of the day. Other than that, the room was really nice and peaceful. The bed and pillows were super comfy. I will return soon and plan to tell family and friends about this hidden gem. There was a complimentary boat tour at 11. If you can, do it; it was informative and pleasant (took about 45 min.). Shout out to the captain! This place also had a nice outdoor pool and hot tub with more than enough chairs and tables. Don't let the reviews scare you. I loved this place!!!"
