Staff was friendly and beds were comfy! The floors could use some extra attention though and the elevator was particularly dirty. I would stay again.

There was what appeared to be a bullet hole in the headboard of the bed.... there was a bad smell in the lobby and hallways... the AC leaked water, so the carpet around the bed was wet.

The room was dirty bad. Our socks were brown from walking on the carpet in our room. The toilet had poop streaks from the prior people who stayed before us. The curtains were stained brown & the bedding was stained as well. Even the entry way & the hallways need to be swept. Won’t be staying there again!

It’s just an older property and could use some love. The handle on the toilet needed to be replaced in my room or the toilet would just keep running.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Pool not in good shape, kinda gross. Good location. Only real complaint was the front desk when I walked in and asked for a room she quoted me over $900, I told her hotels.com had it for $500 she said she wouldn’t advise me to do that because they had no vacancies. I was literally standing in the lobby at the desk and she had just offered me the same room for “walk in” price of $900. I booked via hotels.com and she “couldn’t find the reservation”. After she realized I wasn’t leaving, our room magically appeared. Other than that, the staff was great, friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again.

Staff was extremely friendly. The room was clean where accommodating the breakfast was to be expected accommodating to different taste. Will definitely stay there again. If I have to end up going back to Monroe, I’ll book directly with hotels.com or them directly because going through trivago ended up paying a fee that was not disclosed.
