It's one of the newer hotels in Ruston and yet my room had significant water damage to the ceiling. I'm from the area and come back 5-6 times a year. Typically staying at the Holiday Inn. Very disappointed no one has reached out to me after requesting mamager comtact me.

Toilet was not cleaned. Looked like there was a build-up, and hadn't been addressed for some time. There was quite a line of people to check in at three o' clock, as staff refused to check people in before 2:55pm. Office manager reprimanded guests, by saying that check- in time is 3pm, even though there were rooms ready. Rooms were left unlocked, so it appeared to be a safely issue, as guests entered the room on arrival and found doors to be ajar.

Not a hotel, this is a motel! This "hotel" had no tissue, only 1 towel, and the room was not cleaned. There was 1 staff available to clean all rooms. I witnessed at least 4 people check out within 10 minutes of checking in, due to the same issues. The African American lady at the front was really nice and professional, she brought up light bulbs and tissue. She contacted the owner but he stated he was not going to approve anything she asked. My family and I had to check out as well after 20 minutes. Please don't come here, go anywhere else.

The first room they put me in had dried urine all over the toilet seat. When I told the staff, I was put in a different room. That room had popcorn strewn all under the desk area so clearly neither room had been properly cleaned. The bath towel I used to dry off with was so worn in places I could literally look through it and see myself in the mirror. I will never book there ever again. Total trash hotel in my experience.

I just stayed here for a night and had a good experience. The room was clean. The gym seemed decent. They have free breakfast. Parking lot was easy for a truck. The staff was nice. Overall a great experience and would gladly stay here again.

Mixed review… stayed over the weekend. I was expecting continental breakfast but there was bacon eggs and biscuits! The hotel was modern well upgraded, in general. However, the treadmills did not work and the door handle to the bathroom was broken along with the curtain/rod. The staff was responsive to make needed adjustments.

Our room was clean, the breakfast was nice, the location is great with a Wal-Mart across the interstate from this location. The bad, service is horrible. Our beds when we arrived were made with just two sheets and we asked for blankets only to get one (our room had two beds). Room service did not make our room the second day. No hairdryer, we had to borrow one from our neighbor. The manager is horrible. A very frustrating place, staying at the Marriott my last trip was a much better decision, and I will not make this mistake again.

Room was not ready at 3pm for check in, we arrived 330pm and wsied fir 1.50 hours for room. Others were waiting as well. Room had no toilet paper, trash on floor, toilet had urine all over ( so not cleaned), garbage in can, food in fridge, clothes and left over food., ( chips and salsa ) in wardrobe closet.

We somehow got a handicap room. The shower was terrible. Water got everywhere in the bathroom every time we showered. The shades were not good on the window and in the mornings it was super bright. The beds were rock hard. Our ac kept cutting off/on wll night. There was no option to just run the fan all night. The ac wall unit was all messed up and did not register clear degrees to adjust to the proper temp. We were in our room till 12:15 one day and cleaners never came back by to clean the room. The lobby was clean. Waffle mix was terrible and coffee was not good and cold. At least the mexican food place next door that was decently priced.

Several people in our party had been given room keys to rooms that had not been cleaned and had to go back down and get a new room. Our room had a funny smell when we walked in. The carpet was exceptionally dirty like it had not been vacuumed in quite a while. Our cabinets had food in it: mayo, mustard, cheese and tupperware with food. Our mirror look like it has been cleaned with a dirty rag and the bathroom floor was also dirty with hair found in the bathtub.
