Baymont is right off Hwy 58 and across the street from two gas stations. Also, far enough away from the loud whistles of the trains going through Tehachapi. Yet, just a couple miles from town. It’s clean, quiet and perfect for a quick overnight stay. Staff is very friendly too.

The staff was very nice. I enjoyed the free food in the morning. The heater was a bit loud and annoying, but that’s normal for those types of motels. It was really nice for the price. Clean centrally located I really don’t have any complaints.

There are no elevators, so if you're staying more than a night or 2, ask for a 1st floor room. Dragging luggage upstairs is a pain. The breakfast is pretty small, just cereal, juice, etc. Parking is great, staff is friendly enough. Rooms are decent. Clean. I stayed just one night as a half-way point to my final destination as a solo traveler, and it was great for that purpose. I couldn't see myself staying an extended period of time, but it was suitable for what I needed. Not the lap of luxury by any means, but that's not what I expected or was looking for. Biggest issue would be lack of elevator, but, the woman at the desk who checked me in was able to switch me to a ground floor room, which was greatly appreciated!

We love this hotel. It’s easy to get to, has a great restaurant nearby, a walking path to stretch out your legs. The beds are super comfortable and our dog just loves it. Their coffee in the morning is also good.
