"It was incredible. We were greeted warmly by staff, some of whom spoke fluent English, and everything was spotless. The baths were super clean and beautiful. It was such a treat to be able to reserve them for private bath time. The public ones were awesome too. It was fun exploring the different rooms throughout the ryokan. They put a lot of care into the meals and personally bring every course to your room. I think this one is perfect fore couples because of the private baths . It was the perfect relaxing time. "Helped me see Mt. Fuji at sunrise. There was a thick layer of fog forming right above the Yamanakako Lake in the early mornig, which seems to be a common thing in this season. Because this hotel was above the fog it didn't obstruct our view of the beautiful Mt. Fuji at sunrise. It was a very clear and sunny day, and the fog cleared up within a couple of hours after sunrise. If you are aiming for sunrise picture, this hotel really enhaces your chance of catching the precious view. "
