「Booked my stay over a month in advance, requesting a first floor room due to my dog usually needing to go out to potty during the night. They told me there were no rooms available on the 1st floor when I checked in. 「Clean room, excellent breakfast choices—best I’ve seen in a while. Check in lady was VERY GOOD about keeping my room number and information secure from being overheard by the man in line behind me. One real problem. The window in my 1st floor room was UNLOCKED upon arrival. This is SO unsafe. Someone could already have been inside, or someone could have entered during my stay, if I had not checked this. 「The sheets and towels appeared to be clean, but the floor was filthy. I had to clean it with a towel after checking in. Shower dribbled like a septuagenarian with prostate issues. Water, what little there was, was hot, so I could was. Noisy neighbor, but that’s not the hotel’s fault, other than this price range brings in a higher percentage of riff-raff.」

「The bed is comfortable and our room was very nice. The only complaint I have was that breakfast is only available until 9:00 and the coffee is not good. We went to the close by Gathering House coffee shop for good coffee and a light breakfast.」

「We left after stripping the beds to find all types of stains (my friend thought he got bit by a bedbug, we didnt find any). Some obviously blood some obviously fecal. Also they were small and uncomfortable. The “blankets” were thinner than my sheets at home. I asked for couple of extra pillows and was told they only had 1 spare. The toilet seat did not fit the toilet. The breakfast? Definitely not continental.」

「Breakfast was good however there is no where to eat so be prepared to carry it back to your room. Otherwise the rooms were updated and clean. TV small but good selection of channels. Bathroom and shower very good. Lots of clean towels. Will come back and recommend for anyone looking for a no fuss motel.」

「No locks on the first-floor sliding windows, the connecting doors were barely secure, and the main hallway door opened an inch even when locked. Additionally, the toilet had zero water pressure and took five minutes to flush each time. The only upsides were that it is close to Cedar Point, and we saw a baby seagull in the parking lot.」

「It took about 20 minutes of waiting for a staff member to come check us in for our stay. We pressed the button on the phone and called the hotel and finally someone came to the desk. The hotel was understaffed for the night and the employee seemed overwhelmed. She was very nice and pleasant when checking us in. No problems with our room at all. Breakfast was also fine. When we went to check out we had to press the call button again because the employee was not at the front desk.」
