「The hotel is a lovely building and is very nicely decorated. The breakfast is excellent with something for everyone including an omelette station. The front desk people were efficient and friendly. While the room was clean the room does look a bit tired. It could use a fresh coat of paint and the carpets cleaned. That said, the bathroom is updated and overall I was pleased by the room. 「We stayed for a night off-season whilst doing the Camino Portuguese. The hotel seems to be mid-upgrade: the room had clearly had a thorough refit with box-new towels. Other parts of the hotel looked a bit more dated, but it was clean and tidy. One thing we were surprised to see was a 4-lane 10-pin bowling alley - a fun diversion for our evening.」
