「The Beach Hotel is a social enterprise run by the YMCA as an apprenticeship scheme. In light of this we had quite modest expectations for our stay. But these were misplaced - the hotel is spotlessly clean, and run by professional, welcoming staff. The occasion was a large family reunion, and the restaurant served us all with a good simple dinner in an efficient and timely way. Service was excellent. 「Warm welcome when we arrived, shown to our room and given general information on our stay, emergency contact, breakfast times etc. Restaurant pub area was warm and inviting, drinks value for money. Opted not to have breakfast as had early start the following day. Room was clean and tidy, and the bed was very comfortable and both was a generous size. And will be more than happy to stay again when in the area.」
