"A fantastic find….10/10….discreet service friendly/polite/professional/prompt….restaurant and pub ambience warm, relaxing, gastro-pub vibes… cosy, real fires and log burners in every bar….menu selection/beer and wine list both extensive….bedroom had en-suite with underfloor heating in bathroom, air conditioning, decor and amenities perfect…imagine luxury hotel meets you favourite pub and favourite restaurant rolled into one….also great value for money!! Our go to destination in Somerset, handy if you are visiting The Newt and want a stop over, "

"The room was very comfortable and clean. And the staff very helpful. We were travelling and had to get up early so missed out on the breakfast. We did not take advantage of the spa facilities so cant comment on this. If we are in the area again we would stay here again. The only down side is there is not a restaurant onsite, we were given a list of places which was very helpful, the pub we chose was only 6 mins down the road in the car and was very welcoming and the food good."

"We enjoyed our 2 nights stay here. We were attending the New Wine festival at Shepton Mallet so needed somewhere to sleep! We didn't use many of the facilities as we literally got up & left for the day but there were plenty of facilities available! We slept like babies in the comfy bed! Lesley was a very helpful hostess & communicated often. She's even posting me back an item of clothing we left behind! The accommodation was comfortable, there was parking available too! We would highly recommend staying here❤️"
