My room was small as expected with just a twin bed. The shower area in restroom was extremely small, tight fit. I was surprised at check-in that the “city local tax” was higher at check-in than what Expedia quoted me. Breakfast was pleasant and basic.

Very helpful and friendly staff and big, clean rooms, and nice facilities. Lombardia hotel is located only 20 min walk from city centre, 5 min with metro to Loreta square. I had a really great time in Milano!

Hotel is clean and fit for purpose if you just want somewhere to stay with no frills but is more a 3 star rather than a 4 star hotel. The heating did not work in my room on arrival but the receptionist quickly alerted maintenance and as they could not get it working moved me into another room. Location not too far from Loretta metro station. The worst thing about my stay was the breakfast which was very poor and really not up to standard.

The hotel can only have heating or cooling active for all rooms at a single time, but not both. During our stay we wanted to turn on the AC and couldn’t. The room was warm and humid as a result. Beds were smelly, with a mix of pee and humid smell. Showers had some mold on grout. Breakfast was included, but utensils and plates were not very clean. Manager refused to acknowledge the room’s beds smelled (despite his staff having done so) and simply offered to move us to a different room. However, manager refused to provide compensation for the nights we were uncomfortable.

Great find - nice quiet area.

This was the first time staying at this hotel and in this part of Milan and we loved it. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the room was big and clean and it was quiet so we were able to get a good nights sleep.
