The room was clean and well maintained, staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast was excellent, and the airconditioning was perfect. The only drawback was the very small size of the room, and the mattress was not comfortable, especially by American hotel standards. But for the small size of the room and uncomfortable mattress I would have rated everything excellent, rather than just good.

Went to Milan for one night and this was a perfect budget-friendly hotel. It’s right by the central station so super easy access, hotel was clean and well-maintained. Older building but was still quiet for being on a busy-ish street. The front desk workers were also very friendly.

My stay at Bernina was 10/10. My room was fantastic, I slept beautifully and it was so quiet. The location of the hotel was easy to find from the train station, and as a solo female traveler I felt safe in the area. *Igor at the front desk / reception was outstanding - helping me book a hair appt, advising me on transportation to and from a soccer game, and answering all of my Qs about my trip. I am so grateful to him for his help! (Igor if you read this, the AC Milan game was a success! (And no passport needed!)) Paolo and the man who worked reception at night were also very helpful. If I’m ever back in Milan I’ll be back:) 🙏😊

We booked our stay at Bernina because it was close to Milano Centrale train station. That was worth it. The hotel was perfect for our needs. The room was cozy but clean. Nice to have a refrigerator. The breakfast had a nice assortment of carbs and protein. Staff was courteous. Would recommend for a short stay in Milan.
