「We had an overall okay stay, the things that were good were: -food -no bugs -clean The things that we did not like were: -the daytime manager did not let us in the pool because we were wearing very modest and Halal swimwear, she told us that the other guests would complain and feel uncomfortable with our presence in the pool even though no one else was in the pool/ outside, she wanted us to wear underwear instead -the room smelled really bad -when we booked our room online there was no...

「❌ Cons: 1. Multiple power outages, some last hours, some minutes but at least 6 in 9 days that we know of. It does seem to affect the whole area, but some places have generators and some don't. Basel doesn't seem to, and the staff didn't explain what was going on. they are used to it, but we weren't and we needed to charge our devices! 2. We had ants in our room 3. Hotel is NEXT TO A VERY POPULAR KARAOKE BAR. And those guys like to sing late... 4. There was a hole in the wall, patched which...

「Had a fantastic stay; my room was very clean and had a balcony! Breakfast was decent, not many options due to the small hotel. However, the pool was lovely and the poolside bar was a plus! 10 min to the beach, and 5 min to lots of dining options. The staff/owners were so incredibly kind and my room was cleaned daily!」

「This my second stay at the Opera hotel. It’s the most Beautiful boutique hotel. Everything is spotlessly clean and staff are super friendly. Especially Ruken who cleaned my room everyday. The hotel is ideally situated close to the beach, restaurants and bars」

「Sauberes Hotel, Frühstücksvielfalt in Nebensaison (Februar) gut. Ruhiges Hotel. Höfliches Personal an der Rezeption. Entgegenkommend. Bestelltes Taxi unnerhalb weniger Munuten sa gewesen. Gute, günstige Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe. Trotz Fastenzeit gutes Essen möglich. Kleines Fischrestaurant und ein Grillrestaurant, was uns vom Personal empfohlen wurde. 」
