We had a great experience in upsun hotel. Hotel Staff including valet team, were pleasant from the beginning to the end of our vacation. We also liked that we were within walking distance of nearby stores and restaurants.

Hotel was within easy access to everything you need for a great stay. South beach, bars & restaurants all in walking distance. Bus stop outside route 100 take's you up and the coast. Hotel room was clean with pool on the roof with great views ( still working on the bar ). All the staff we meet were friendly and helpful. When the bar is finished this hotel will have everything you in one place for a great holiday.

The Upsun hotel was a decent stay, however there could have been a lot more effort put into this hotel to make it enjoyable for guests. A few notable examples would be repairing the showers as they tend to leak and leave a mess on the floor. The fridge was also broken and not cold. The floors were not swapped in the rooms, and the stationary items such as the ice bucket and coffee maker were not cleaned. The phone was broken and there was very minimal WiFi connection. Overall is rate the stay 2/5, only because at least we had a roof over our heads for the stay and I can’t complain about that.

If I could give this hotel 0 stars, I would. I stayed at Upsun Hotel (formerly Urbanica) in Miami Beach. Their website advertises 24-hour front desk service, but staff were only consistently present around 3 PM at check-in. During check-in, staff were openly speaking negatively about prior guests in Spanish, which felt unprofessional and inappropriate. My room phone didn’t work, so I had to use my cell to contact the front desk—calls went unanswered. The next day, I discovered the AC wasn’t working. After multiple failed attempts to reach staff and an empty front desk, I spent the day and evening trying to get help. At 11 PM, I finally reached someone who simply said, “There is nothing I can do.” No solutions, no fan, no room change—nothing, despite 85-degree heat and no ventilation. I was told it would be fixed at 8 AM. No one came. After repeated calls, I finally reached staff at 9:45 AM, who claimed they couldn’t help because the technician was off. I was given inconsistent and clearly false explanations about why I wasn’t contacted. The issue went unresolved for nearly 24 hours, and no one ever inspected the unit. When I spoke to the manager, she was dismissive, rude, and offered no meaningful resolution. This level of service is unacceptable. No communication, no accountability, and no basic hospitality. Save your money and stay elsewhere

Parking was valet and $40 a night, which we were not told and assumed it was in the $35 resort fee. Pool closes at 8 pm which kinda sucks. Other than that very local to Ocean Ave, you can walk most places. Beds were comfy and hotel easy to locate/ navigate.

Pretty nice hotel, and we enjoyed our stay...but I have 2 suggestions (with all due respect) if the hotel has social club as part of the name, I think they should revive the lobby area to be just that..Looks like it used have a bar and lounge area, but now it's just wasted space, also I believe a mini bar should be set up somewhere in the rooftop pool area, with that said, I'd definitely consider staying there again, next time I'm in Miami.

Staff was super friendly. We stayed here for a cruise departure the following day. Please note, if you stay here for that reason, the port is close, however, the traffic is horrendous and will take about 30 minutes, so plan accordingly. Also, the cab ride from the airport ran $70

Hôtel bien situé sur la 5 street proche de Ocean Drive. Un arrêt de bus juste devant pour Downtown Miami . Évitez de commander un « taxi « au lobby car très cher parce que non officiel sans compteur donc un business entre locaux. Personnel sympa, une coupe de champagne vous est offerte à votre arrivée Les vélos aussi pour 2 heures par jour , très pratique ! Un peu déçu pour un 4 étoiles car les plafonds des chambres non peints à l’état brut comme en chantier et assez sommaire le mobilier en intérieur . J’ai connu mieux à Miami Beach pour le même prix !

Welcome from the male receptionist was excellent; rooftop pool really lovely (but very cold!); room simple, clean, could do with a bit of an upgrade, including the towels.
