I’ve stayed in numerous hotels across various cities, countries, and continents, and unfortunately, Palm Tree Club Miami ranks among the worst experiences I’ve had.
The hotel lacks even the most basic amenities - there was no coffee maker, hot water kettle, or microwave in the room, nor were these available in any common area. I even visited the on-site restaurant hoping to warm up some food, only to find they didn’t have a microwave either.
To make matters worse, the telephone in my room didn’t work throughout my entire stay. For a tourist without a local phone, this made ordering food or contacting the front desk nearly impossible. Adding to the inconvenience, most nearby restaurants close fairly early.
The only redeeming feature of the hotel is the swimming pool, which was well-maintained and enjoyable. However, a key point of confusion: while the hotel is located beside the water, it does not have a private beach - something I mistakenly assumed based on the photos.
Overall, this was one of the most disappointing hotel stays in my travel history. I hope this review helps others make a more informed decision.
