  • This place is right behind the James L Knight Center, right between the Brickell Avenue and the S.E. 2nd Avenue bridge. I was on the North side of the Miami River pointing my camera South East. I found plenty of parking for a reasonable price. Best time if you want lots of action would be Friday or Saturday night. For a more desolate nights I would recommend Monday thru Thursday night. Here you will find an incredible amount of photography opportunities to shoot for. While like any big city you will find a few homeless folks, the place was very clean and very well kept. Lots of new, very tall buildings have made the Miami landscape a very popular site for photography!

Overall, the price is reasonable. While the soundproofing could be better, both beds are queen-size, and hot coffee and water are available throughout the day. A good option for a one-night stay before a cruise.

Although the staff was friendly, the parking was difficult, but the rooms/hotel itself definitely was extremely underwhelming. The shower appeared to have clear caulking over mold, and the space to get into the room or the bathroom was incredibly tight. I was grateful I only needed to have a place to rest my head for an early flight the following morning.

The website makes this place look very nice and relaxing, it’s all lies. The shuttle never showed up as they were having mechanical issues but never let us know until I called back asking where they were. We ended up calling a Lyft, then I had called the day before to add early check in as it’s an option. We were scheduled for 11am check-in, we arrived at 12:30 due to the shuttle not showing up. We then learned that the rooms weren’t cleaned and ready, we sat in the lobby until 2:10pm with no updates. The lady at the front desk was more interesting in her cell phone than anything, when asked about a eta she just says “I don’t know” and also takes no initiative to ask and find out. Get to the room on the 2nd floor and they have NO elevator which is convenient when they are close to a port and people pack for a week+ The room is the size of a broom closet, AC smells funny, view out the window looked over a potential meth lab, bathroom is stupid small. The space between the shower glass and wall where the toilet sat is the same width as my shoulders(so that was fun). The room had one chair that sucked, the bed which slept like a bag of rock and pillows smaller than my head…… so basically this place is a 💩hole. Spend the extra money and book a better place, our total was 250 for a single night which is ridiculous. Again stay away from this POS hotel.

Airport shuttle very poor. Mark as another hotel chain. Only side temp marking. I phoned for pickup was told zone 22. Shuttle drove right by me. I was waiting over 2 hours to be picked up and three phone calls. Shuttle very dirty all seats we highly stained and the shuttle had poor suspension wabbled left and right all the time. Hotel rug in the front highly stained. I had to sit and wait for my room to be cleaned and it was after 3pm. Rooms are definitely a 1 star. Badly painted rugs in poor condition. Bathroom a disaster. I wore my pool flip flops in the shower

The hotel is run down and in poor condition. There is no elevator and despite being the only one at check in with a large suitcase I was the only one put upstairs. The breakfast had a tiny selection of some toast, bagels, an apple, or dodgy looking waffle maker.
