"Basic French mountain accommodation. Good set up with friendly helpful staff. Avoriaz is pretty cool, loads of amenities. Stayed here for summer MTB, would probably stay again. Little bit tired in apartment but that’s standard unless you’re paying top end."

"Dark and depressing, everything is brown, very little natural light, clean but very tired and very basic. This is not a Hotel, you have to make your own beds, staff unhelpful when we needed to move rooms because of the barking dog next door …. we asked if they could help move the linen and were told by them that that wasn’t there job why should they do it??? Maybe a misunderstanding as i thought we were booking a hotel room this feels more like a hostel ….. "

"This was literally the absolute worst hotel (really, it was more like a hostel) that I have stayed in either stateside or abroad. The property only allows you to communicate with them during two short periods daily around check-in and out. Their information indicates check in is not on the property. "Very comfortable. Make sure you familiarize yourself with the amenities. I missed the laundry because the map was in the key folder which my husband had and didn't look at. Loved the free drinks in the mini fridge, nice lobby beverage area as well. Get dinner reservations if the weather is bad. It's an older hotel that is nicely renovated. I discovered that the windows fully open, which would have been nice to know when the room needed a cool down. The AC can be a bit slow. There's nice coffee shops around. Don't miss walking around oldtown. Lovely lunch spot at the Little Oak Rd. "
