「The room was one of the nicest we have ever stayed in. Well appointed with shelving and drawers which seem lately to be disappearing in other hotels. Amenities were fabulous. 「Enjoyed our staycation in a dog-friendly corner room with a river view and Fort Calgary where they had Canada Day festivities. Lots of things to do like walk the river path to Inglewood or Eau Claire. Staff are wonderful and it’s quiet and comfortable. Not big rooms but great King bed. 「Staffs are friendly and helpful except one female restaurant staff on duty dated yesterday who was a bit unfriendly after front desk staff guided me to get a glass of warm water at the restaurant. She did not have to act so unfriendly. To be honest, l was a bit “ pissed off “ as there was not hot water boiler inside the guest room ! Others all good. 「Very close to the Calgary Stampede Parade route (convenient for folks visiting Calgary for the Stampede). Great location - also walking distance from Stephen Av (pedestrian-only shopping district), Calgary Tower. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Great diner adjacent to the hotel - “Beltliner”. Breakfast was OK (the oatmeal had the consistency of gruel). Other than that, the basic fare was alright: scrambled eggs, toast, yogurt, apples / oranges. 」

「Hotel is nice. It’s downtown so it can be a bit noisy. The parade is nice just not very tall. Only 6 ft clearance so my smaller suv just barely made it. Any truck I wouldn’t try it」
