"Our stay at Hotel Vischi was wonderful. The staff were friendly, especially the waiter at breakfast, who also serves at the beach bar. The breakfast itself was lovely, with plenty of fresh options and a terrace setting that made it extra special. The kids absolutely loved the pool, and we also made great use of the free bike hire to explore the area at our own pace. The hotel’s location is good, with restaurants, shops, and the lakeside just a short stroll away, and it’s perfectly placed for visiting nearby villages around Lake Como. The hotel offers warm service, a good breakfast, family-friendly facilities, and thoughtful extras like bike hire, all in a prime spot on the lake. Highly recommended for a relaxed, family-friendly getaway."

"We loved our four-night stay at B&B Al Carotin. Julio is super friendly and always at hand. The property has balconies overlooking the valley and mountains, and it was so relaxing just to sit out on the balcony, drink in the views, and let your shoulders drop. We took a day trip to Tirano and took the train up to Switzerland, which is the same line as the Bernina Express. We had a couple of very enjoyable days by the lake. We'd love to come back."

"The staff really makes this hotel! It is small quiet place with a caring, friendly, helpful staff. The rest of Lake Como was overrun with tourists and staff who were tired and even borderline rude. But not at Villa Reverie! They were consistently welcoming, gracious, and respectful. It takes a little planning to move around the lake because it is not a common boat stop, but with a little planning, all activities are possible. We went to Bellagio one day and Villa Balbiano the other. (Be sure to get Balbiano tickets online a couple of weeks ahead) We also went swimming in Bellano one afternoon and the staff hooked us up with a beach bag and towels. On a rainy day, we all needed umbrellas which were gladly provided. Special thanks to Jessica, Matteo, David, Donatello, and our lovely server/bartender from Puglia!! Grazie Mille!"

"I stayed two nights at this hotel. My room was a bit different than advertised. I had a skylight and a portal, so the room was large but a bit dark and with no view other than the sky. The furniture was a bit dated, but in good shape and the bed was comfortable, although the desk in my room was a bit damaged (laminate missing). However, the bathroom was newly renovated and very upscale which was nice. It was great to have a nice hot shower to soothe the muscles after hiking. Breakfast was also great--much better than I expected. Highly recommend paying the extra money. Finally, a bonus! The hotel comes with the Ticino pass, and I made excellent use of this. Overall, I would 100% stay again but would request a different room. "
