"The room was not completely clean"

"We had a wonderful 7 night stay at Hotel Gabriel!! Our room was beautiful and quite comfortable and the location of the hotel could not be better. We walked everywhere in Menton including the train station. I sleep hot so having a fan directly above the bed made a huge difference in my comfort! My only surprise was not having any shampoo or conditioner or lotion in the bathroom. That’s something I’ve never experienced before. But the staff were amazing and breakfast was delish - so 5 stars from me! "

"Lovely little hotel in good location. Staff were very helpful. Rooms were clean and tidy. Only issue was breakfast. There didn’t seem to be enough staff to cope with the number of guests with tables left full of dishes and nowhere to sit. Food , crockery and glasses were also not available. Otherwise ok."

"Very clean rooms with a perfect view. Bathroom is excellent with a true and good shower (No bathtub/shower). The room itself may need a little refresh as, although clean, is a little tired. Furniture, doors and deco are old and have seen better days. Servi-bar is full with soft drinks and few snacks. Doble windows insure good noise and temp insulation. AC is again, a little tired and old."
