This property is highly unique. I travel quite a bit and have never had the pleasure of staying in a pimped-out treehouse. It awakened the little boy in me. I wished there were more of these around the country. The design and layout of the property, along with the decoration, are exquisite. The staff is filled with Southern hospitality. The check-in team was accommodating and knowledgeable about places to eat and visit. The shopping and selection of items are as unique as the resort itself. In short, I would return to Memphis to stay here.
The downside is that there is no other development around the property; it is a stand-alone attraction. However, with the observation deck, one could argue it may not need anything else. The restaurant was underwhelming, and the floor was sticky. As a result, I chose not to eat there, so I could not comment on the food.
I give this property 9.3 out of 10 stars.
