「Checking in was a disaster!!!! They didn’t know how to process my Expedia reservation. It took an hour to check in. I had to get help from Expedia chat to help with the process. Wanted to cancel reservation during the process but Expedia would not comply. Reservation supervisor was cold and unapologetic!」

「Can’t close the bathroom without struggling. The floors are curved (bulged/not level) tip down between bed and entertainment where refrigerator and microwave are. The walk way between them are very narrow. I fear for future guests where they can get hurt if the entertainment falls on them」

「The room was extremely dirty and things were out of place. The beds were extremely hard and felt like you were sleeping on thin padded concrete. The elevator smelled like puke and the room smelled like mildew and smoke. I ended up cancelling the rest of our stay even though I had to forfeit part of my payment. We just could not stay there anymore.」

「This hotel was excellent! I would give it 10 stars! Our room was unique in that the restoration to preserve the previous Mill was seen everywhere on the grounds as well as our room. The breakfast was also excellent. Hot homemade grits, biscuits, gravy, eggs & sausage was all included. The staff were all very friendly & helpful from checking in & the breakfast staff. I hope one day I get to return to the City Mill Hotel.」
