「It was a modern comfortable property. The pool was clean bright and inviting. The living accommodation had all those amenities that one would expect for a relaxing holiday. There is no washing machine and it would have been nice to have but it looks like this is common in Crete. The coffee machine in our room was not working and the shower was the only room that needed more attention. But none of these would make us not wanting to revisit and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to...

「Put simply, the experience feels entirely disconnected from guests' needs. Many of the choices seem to have been made without considering the people who actually use the rooms. For example, upon entering, a coffee set was placed squarely in the middle of the table, leaving no space to use the surface. The desk drawer handles are oversized and protrude into the body of the desk. Opening them reveals empty interiors, which seems unnecessary and thoughtless.」

「The Old Distillery Suites was absolutely wonderful in terms of accommodation and a very helpful and friendly host. The apartment is modern and roomy with nice light and a gorgeous balcony. We enjoyed that balcony for morning coffee and evening wine. We made use of the washing machine which came with instructions. The location is close to the beach area and we spent time walking around the harbor and enjoying all the lovely restaurants. There is a cafe right outside the entrance and shops...

「The biggest issue with this room( ocean ) was the smell. Every day when we returned to our room it smelled like dead mice. It was “okay” after opening the patio doors and airing it out but you can’t run the ac while doing that. We have stayed in other properties where the hosts were very proactive in welcoming us and helping to recommend restaurants, tours, etc. Unfortunately that was not the case here. The location is excellent and in all other respects the property offers a nice stay.」
