"A very nice Hotel with only 7 rooms but a really outstanding service and 'family' concept where the entire staff is striving to make your stay perfect and exceptional. A good place to relax and unwind including a super delicious restaurant. Only thing you have to be aware of, that there is absoultely NO tourism infrastructure around this place! No restaurants, no shops, no nothing! Nearest town is 40 mins. by local transport. But if you're looking for a calm and tranquil place to forget about...

"Property was very close to the beaches.
Room was clean and really lovely, however right beside a main road so lots of noises during the evening. Private pool was in fact not very private and anyone could walk by at any moment. Lovely service and the people were great, we didn’t have any food so cannot comment. "

"Nice and comfy room. Beautiful garden with many beautiful birds and other wildlife.
Close to the beach. Plus is for the distance to Galle Road (which is very noisy).
The dinner was good, but far from great. The curry’s are way to salty. Same as for the breakfast (don’t try the chocolate pancakes).

- Big minus for the hotels own landfill that you see if you take a walk outside the fences. They should really clean that up. Not ok!

"We really enjoyed our stay in the lagoon paradise resort and even decided to stay one day longer than initially planned. You can enjoy the breakfast (as well as dinner) in the nice beach restaurant with a great view. We booked a cabana which was located near the swimming pool. We would definitely recommend the hotel to anybody who visits Tangalle! Special thanks also to the staff (especially Weerasena & Thisara) who were more than welcoming."

"What can I say about the best 4 nights/ 5 day stay at the stunning Uga Prāva? Impeccable, luxurious, relaxed, elegant, extremely friendly staff (Prem is one wonderful butler), delicious food. The attention to detail is on- point, everything from the seamlessly understated decor, to the gorgeous infinity pool, gardens, view out over the Indian Ocean, quiet, seriously comfortable suites, .. "Our stay at Ivory Resort was fantastic. The room was comfortable, spotless, and had everything we needed. The hotel sits on a beautiful stretch of beach and the pool area was peaceful and perfect for relaxing. The breakfast was the best we have had in Sri Lanka with fresh ingredients and great choice.
The staff were outstanding and incredibly welcoming. They helped with anything we needed and helped arrange our laundry. A special thank you to Kavindra for the warm hospitality and helpful local tips.
We also had lunch at the hotel and the food was exceptional. The fried sea bass and prawn curry were cooked to perfection. Overall, a wonderful experience and we would highly recommend staying here. They also kindly allowed us a late check out which we really appreciated. "

"I loved everything about this place- quiet, a short pleasant walk to town center, incredible breakfast and cafe vibes (and music!), electricity was better here than in other places I've stayed, AC worked well, nice patio, big bed and bathroom. As a solo female traveler I felt safe. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, arrange rides, etc. BOHOMA STUTHI!!!"

"Lovely hotel was being repainted as we stayed just out of season. The pool and restaurant were great and the staff were very helpful. Be aware the hotel is a little remote from anything else out of season and there no real entertainment around out of season, however the area looks like it would be lively in the season but please note the hotel is still a fair walk to the next bar or hotel and 20 mins to the main strip so tuk tuk will be required "

"Such a lovely hotel located right on the beach, I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to be slightly outside of Hiriketiya. Due to its location it is very quiet and peaceful. There are sun loungers on the beach as well as by the pool. It is super easy to get into the main town by tuktuk or a 30 minute walk. The staff are lovely and so attentive if you need a bite to eat I would recommend their pizza which are delicious. We loved our stay here and would 100% come back! "
