「Jo the care taker is very nice and friendly to give whatever help and advice needed for a visitor new to the place. The room is clean and in fact the whole building seems to have just been renovated.」
「Lovely room, comfortable and plenty of space for clothes. Breakfast menu is extensive and delicious and the proprietors are very friendly and welcoming」
「Great stay, room was large and clean, bed and pillows extremely comfortable, breakfast was excellent, so much choice and very tasty. Also got a car parking space on site. Hosts were lovely. Nothing to complain about at all🤗」
「The sea view room was great! Would recommend. Breakfast is an amazing selection! Staff are super friendly and helpful. It’s approx 15-20 scenic min walk into centre of Torquay.」
「We had a fabulous time. Great communication and welcome from owners. The apartment was beautiful, the decor, the outlook from sitting room window, with all the trees and birds. Kitchen was really well equipped and lovely touch of a cake, buscuits, milk, water and soft drinks. Beautiful products in bathroom and super comfy bed. We will definitely be back in the future. 」
「I had such a lovely stay here. It may be a modest B&B, but it was absolutely excellent, and as a solo female traveller I felt completely safe, comfortable and genuinely looked after.

Breakfast was fresh and...
「The Berberry is a great place to stay, just 10 minutes walk from the station or the seafront, and offers a very comfortable bed with a great breakfast to set you up for the day ahead!!!

Wendy’s delicious homemade cake was a lovely addition to a relaxing cuppa in the garden on our arrival, and the breakfast menu covers all tastes, including...
「I was so pleased I chose this hotel for overnight stay, it got everything I needed and I was in so love with room, absolutely gorgeous. Feel like I was at home, so comfy. Staff were super helpful and lovely. Location was so perfect, easy to travel to the town via foot and the Torquay harbours.」
「The breakfasts were excellent but I would have preferred a start time earlier than 8.30am.
There was constant noise from the room next door which prevented me from sleeping.
The hosts were very helpful and I made these comments on my departure. Sleep is important so This was an issue for me」
「Great location, but some room for improvement
Great location, just a stone’s throw from the main beach in Torquay. The flat had all the amenities we needed for cooking, which was a plus.
Unfortunately, there were a few things that let the stay down. The dining table only seats two people, despite the flat accommodating four. This meant our children had to sit at the table while we ate standing at the kitchen counter.
Although the toilet looked clean, there was a noticeable smell of urine. The...
