Having Walmart just down the parking lot was handy. We enjoyed the meals we had (Denny's and Braums which were nearby). We attended an expo at the Southwest Expo building and they seem to have a lot of events so I can imagine we'll return again.

OMG Angel's Diner caught our eyes on the first round trip over to Iowa. After our disappointing stay because of the smell at B.W. Halito Inn, we kept traveling without breakfast and are thankful that we did. Just look for the pink and black Cadillacs

"This place was amazing, as always, especially after a trip filled with hotels with no customer service and high incidental fees. We walked in at 1:30 am, gave the clerk my name, started to pull out my ID, and he said, "I got it, here's your key". That was it. Less than a minute to check in, no high incidental fees, total kindness to a couple checking in late after a long drive. And the room was large, inviting, and comfortable with a pretty view of the pond. That was the perfect ending to our trip. Thank you!"
"The hotel was clean. Dated but kept very nice. The room were clean. 100 degree weather and the AC was fantastic. Rates were lower but you get more than what you pay for. Odd location and road under construction would be my only complaint. "

If they can use another way to get inside, beside the corner, door..it would be great.

"Breakfast was awesome. They served real scrambled eggs with cheese and bacon in them, biscuits and gravy, and fried potatoes. It was cooked just like you would at home. We have stayed at several Laquinta hotels recently and none of the others serve real eggs that actually taste good. Your breakfast is the best."
