"This is a nice property near Phabeni gate of Kruger National Park, which is just a 6 minute drive. Akani is a great host and if you need anything he will bend over backwards to help! You can park right next to your chalet, which is very helpful. - I personally hate lodges where you have to park a distance away! - There is a pub nearby that gets noisy at times, but if you run a fan it drowns out the noise. The property is very close to the main road and is very safe! "

"We had a marvellous time at Caracal Lodge. It was a wonderful away from it all experience. Magtree Cottage was very comfortable and well equipped even though there is no electricity, power being supplied by gas appliances, paraffin lamps and LED lighting. It was magical to wake up with views of the resident giraffe family as well as zebra, impala, horses and a pet pig! Outside there was a braai, fire pit in a lovely shaded area and a small pond. Exploring the 300 hectare game park there...

The facilities are great with the hippo hide where you can watch hippos safely as well as an extremely nice golf course on the property with impala walking on the course. The ride from the Safari Lodge along the Sabi river takes about an hour in each direction and you'll see more animals then you've ever seen in your life! Truly. Majestic. Awesome trip. You don't need more than a couple or few days unless you want a safari experience and stay in expensive tents etc. This place is perfect for the casual traveler who wants to see animals animals and more animals. Heavenly! And the lodge is perfect like a vacation place not a safari place. "

"Its been our second time to Hazyview Cabanas and it was an amazing experience the 8 sleeper units have been newly revamped. So modern and clean absolutely loved it. The facilities and activities for the kids and families over the holiday perios was great. Friendly welcoming staff and the Rivers edge resturant was great if you dont feel like having a break from the kitchen."

"The photos dont do this property justice. secluded and quite with the sabie river running along side the villas and restaurants its just paradise. We stayed in the family Villa and it was breathtaking. The whole family went to the spa and had messages whilst listening to the river running by. it was the perfect way to end our trip to Kruger with some luxurious R&R."
