The staff were exceptional! The view of Bennett Bay and beyond from our room was gorgeous. We enjoyed the bakery and restaurant affiliated with the Resort. A great location to explore Mayne Island from. We look forward to returning.

The staff were most pleasant and welcoming to their resort. The beautiful setting provided peace and a connection with nature. The balcony was private with an expansive view. The neighbourhood was certainly safe for walking and the beach was available for exploration. Indeed, a fine holiday spot!

Our updates room was wonderful & the view was fantastic. An extremely solid 4 star property. The staff warned us at check in that the internet on the property was spotty & it was. We were also warned at check in that restaurant meals are difficult to come by on the island and they very much are. Plan your dinner well ahead as restaurants are frequently closed & if you plan to go to the Supermarket to buy food it closes extremely early.

Our 3rd time here, and it's always a nice experience. Setting is superb. Staff are very accommodating. Hot tub and sauna are nice amenities. I'll also mention that this is the first time no food was available on site most of our stay, a problem because the island's other options are minimal. In mid-week (high season) both on-site restaurants were closed and the former morning coffee-tea mini-breakfast room was closed off. This posed a problem since we were staying in the hotel rooms. Less of an issue for those staying in cabins with kitchens.

We stayed here two nights at the end of June. The hotel is quiet but comfortable, and management is friendly and helpful. Maria, our server at the restaurant, was lovely and attentive. Too had we didnt bump into the ghost! We recommend this hotel for a short romantic visit to Mayne.

Room has no closet there is no room cleaning daily, no bed sheets or towels change restaurant closed wednesday and thursday, there is no place to get any food or drinks those days amenities only include a small swiming and whirlpool indoor the scenery is beautiful

I’ve known of this place for two decades and understand it had been acquired by new owners. We were advised two days before arrival, after paying in full, that the pool was closed due to water shortage ( on arrival were told it was a broken pipe) along with the gym. The location is also experiencing a severe staff shortage which means housekeepers are overwhelmed with simple requests. Restaurant staff were excellent but the restaurant was closed one of the two nights ( this is high season) . I don’t want to be too critical but it was a disappointment for this stunning location.

Room had a breathtaking view of the bay. Very peaceful and private. Easy access to the beach and nearby walking trail. Numerous Eagle, Raven, Osprey sightings as well as seals, otter, mink and deer. Our first trip to Mayne Island and we are definitely returning.

We just spent three nights at the Mayne Island Resort and it was excellent. It was so relaxing and very quiet and peaceful. Unfortunately, the restaurant was ill equipped on our first night and had an extremely limited menu (all they had was burgers) and the hot tub was very foamy so it needed some attention. The young lady at the front was lovely but unable to offer advice about local attractions or walking/hiking information. Our room was comfortable with more amenities than we expected. We would have been able to prepare ourselves any kind of meal in our room. The island had plenty to offer us when we were out exploring. The brewery is definitely worth a stop! I would happily return in a moment
