「Great stay」

「I could not have asked for a better stay in the UK! The room was perfect, the staff were lovely and the food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious (we stayed 5 days for the F1 race and ended up eating at the hotel restaurant for every breakfast and dinner). A wonderful experience. We can’t wait to visit again next year.」

「Very noisy because of the pub below so until 23:00 loud then from 05:00 in the morning music starts again and people singing so if you want to party I guess it’s the right place but if you want to rest get yourself a proper hotel room, me personally I wouldn’t go back 」

「Disappointing. On arrival to the room, there was a distinct musty smell. Not pleasant and still present after opening the windows. No WiFi in the room. Breakfast was almost non existent. For a pub/hotel that promotes its food service and quality, a couple of boxes of cereal and a few miniature pastries was not what was expected or advised. 「The place is old, but not an issue. But the sheets weren't really clean and found a pubic hairs on my pillow. I slept in my day clothes. The facilities had free parking. I parked and asked reception during check in if that's the right place to park and they advice me yes. After return home from my business trip, I get a parking ticket from the hotel. 「Everything about the stay was first class, I can’t fault it at all. The food in the restaurant was fabulous, the cask ales on tap were good and in this day and age the price of the room was very competitive. I would definitely stay there again.」

My daughter lives in St Neots again now and I needed a place to stay overnight. 「Overall an okay stay, our room had a funny smell when we first went in, however we kept being disturbed by door banging in the corridors most of the night as they didn’t have soft closing door hinges on them and the rooms aren’t very sound proof, also not much choice food wise on the menu for anyone who is a fussy eater so had to walk out to find somewhere to eat, also found the hotel quite dark when you walk into reception and not overly appealing, in comparison to other hotels.」
