"Disappointing Experience – Poor Management & Service ​I had a terrible experience at the Baymont in Spearfish. The property is poorly managed, severely lacking in basic maintenance, and had a generally uncomfortable atmosphere. A major selling point for us was the pool, but it does not work as advertised. ​The housekeeping and basic operations were completely unacceptable. After my first request, it took three full days just to get our room cleaned. When I requested cleaning a second time, the staff explicitly promised me it would be taken care of, but it was never done. At one point, I asked for clean towels and was told they hadn't even done the laundry, forcing me to go hunt down towels from the fitness area myself. ​To top it off, there were some highly questionable characters—who appeared to be employees—just wandering the hallways late at night, which felt entirely unprofessional and unsafe. I am incredibly disappointed and will not be returning."
