「Location location location. A perfect place to stay for one night between a flight in and a flight out. Cross the road to get to the airport. Hotel is fine but a little run down -- my room had a collapsed soap dish. There is revelry till about 11 pm outside the rooms. Breakfast from 8 am -- I walked to the supermarket and got what I needed.」

「Pleasant rural outlook, away from area of bars and resorts, but a short drive to Muri shops, beach and dining. It is a comfortable apartment. The driveway is a bit rough, and I was glad to have got a taxi there, and hired a car next day, as it would have been hard to find in the dark.」

「Take ear plugs! The Roosters never shut up! The facilities are basic, but clean and OK. Pool is OK as long as large groups don't take over. Nautilus staff we found dismissive, Muri staff more pleasant. BBQ area is nice but the hot plates are old and barely heat meaning without an over, self catering is challenging. Good proximity to beach and great use of snorkles / kayak / reef shoes etc.」

「Lovely renovated rooms , while staying there during the end of the Reno , we loved the way the team really looked after our needs and made sure nothing was compromised. Loved the morning breakfast on the beach front」

「Only stayed overnight. After midnight to next morning so did not get to meet many staff or the rest of the property. Room was great as were the beds.」

「Beautiful resort with lovely staff. You can watch the sea from the restaurant. The pool was quiet and relaxing. Minimart, coffee and food within 2-5 min walk to provide variety. Massage and facial at the spa were good.」

「Aroa Kainga is one of the best places we ever stayed at. The bungalow and the veranda offer plenty of space and the kitchen is perfectly equiped - you'll find everything you need if you wish to cook your own meals. Location is particularly good if you are into snorkelling as the nearby beach is the best snorkelling place in Rarotonga. As we also wanted to explore other places on the Island, we rented Jane and Craig's car for a couple of days. Absolutely great to have that option! In general Jane...
