「Place was a dump. Toilet didn’t work properly, television didn’t work, remote needed batteries, wifi didn’t work properly. The food menu wasn’t even close to the pictures on line. It was run down and was a disaster. We paid for two nights but checked out after one. Only positive was Claire the manager. 」

「The rooms were spacious and clean. Great size spa tub. And very friendly service. Also close (walking distance) to Kopeopeo shops etc We will definitely come back, and recommend this place to anyone looking at staying in Whakatane. 」

「The partial view from unit 1 could only be seen if you stood in the right position outside on the balcony and then you could just see some ocean. The apartment had all the facilities, however it is getting a little dated and in need of maintenance. The fans had dust on top and the bedroom fan control knob was broken and difficult to turn without it.」
