"We stayed in sugar hostel for two nights and it was a lovely experience although it started out a little rocky. When we first entered there was a little confusion with the booking. Even though the booking details were clear on our end on they had not received our booking. The staff were really kind and friendly and they handled the situation well and we were so happy about it. Top Matara Hotel Reviews

Weligama Bay Marriott Resort & Spa

10/10 Excellent

"Love the food, location and service"

Neem Boutique Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"The property is stunning and beautifully crafted, every corner of the property was picture perfect and aesthetic. The staff were extremely friendly and the manager, Rohan was super helpful - he helped us book our safari and massages. The pool is beautiful and looks exactly like the photos and is clean. The breakfast being included was super helpful and was very yummy with a good selection and excellent ingredients. Neem is extremely peaceful and relaxing. The beach right outside the hotel is stunning but not the best place to swim so I would recommend either staying by the pool or venturing out to nearby spots such as welligama or mirissa if you want to swim or polhena beach for turtle snorkelling - all within 20 minutes of the hotel. Our stay was wonderful and I would recommend this hotel to anyone, it is perfect."

Coast 67 Boutique Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"We have just enjoyed the most wonderful holiday in Sri Lanka which was made by the beautiful hotel and fabulous staff at Coast 67 in Ahangama. A stunning setting with gorgeous, quality wooden fixtures and fittings. We stayed for 9 nights which is unusual at this time of year and settled into the rhythm of the hotel very quickly. The staff make Coast 67 the most very special of places. Kind, caring, attentive calm and funny. They are a brilliant team and big thanks go to the chefs who adapted the menu for me. Coast 67 is a must."
