Lovely hotel near to Chateau Chambord

Well pleased with room - booked standard double but given family room with terrace: Very comfortable, spacious and quiet on rooftop area. Pool was really lovely. So convenient for Chateau de Chambord. Didn't have breakfast here, but had a very good evening meal. Best to reserve table for evening meal directly. I had booked online using emailed survey from hotel which asked if I had any requests, but despite confirmation, they could not actually give me a table in the restaurant at the time I had requested, as it was very busy.

Nice and tidy

A nice and clean room, but a bit small. It has a lovely seating area outside, but in the room itself there is only one chair. The bed was comfortable, but had a plastic cover under the bed linens, which gave it a damp and sweaty feeling. Not so nice.

Business trip stay

Our stay was good and comfortable. We arrived late (just after 9pm) the restaurant was closed so we couldn't order food, only 'tapas' was available, deep fried frozen food which was horrible! Buffet breakfast was good. You have to collect a hairdryer from reception if you need one so best to do that before you go to your room.

It is a functional complex with moderate charm. The proximity to Chateau Chambord is unbeatable. The staff are also very friendly. The hot food is average. The breakfast was plentiful and good. It would make sense to make sure that the room doors in the neighbouring house don't always slam shut automatically with full force. You can hear that three rooms away.

Great for a short stay, pool area is very good and the room was spacious. Food was hit and miss in the restaurant had a steak and couldn’t cut it without shaking the bottle of water off the table, I did mention this to the staff as couldn’t eat it and they just shrugged and walked away. Hotel is in a great location for the chambord castle.

A lovely stay with lots of fun in the pool. Some of the staff were excellent, others less friendly. The family room we had was pretty compact and ours was quite noisy from the kitchen/staff area

Good hotel, the only suggestions I would like to provide to the hotel is to remove laundry facilities from your amenities list as I was told by the front desk that there were none on the property. One of the main reasons I select a hotel when I travel with a family is because of coin operated laundry facilities. Also, for dinner service there was only 1 waitress who had to serve over a dozen tables by herself so she was never able to come check on us.

Hotel situé à quelques kilomètres du domaine de Chambord, piscine agréable en saison et bon accueil et bon contact avec toutes les équipes. Effort remarqué et très apprécié pour l'impact environnemental (agrément clef verte). Chambre vue piscine conforme à un 3 étoiles mais sans beaucoup d'âme. Il est à regretter une offre et une qualité de restauration en deçà du potentiel de la salle. Pour le même prix il vaut mieux faire l'effort de faire une petite distance en voiture avec une offre de restauration concurrente remarquable.
