The hotel is a gorgeous little jewel in the middle of a medieval town, beautiful spot. What makes it wonderful is the attention we received from the staff, every single interaction was extremely positive, they went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. The food was amazing too. I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone in search of a very unique experience in Portugal.

It was very cool and unique to stay in this historic town, loved it. One night was enough. The hotel- good enough, nice breakfast, small room but not cramped. Memorable town with decent stay

This is a sweet little inn in the mountain top castle town of Marvao. We came in early November when it was foggy and/or raining the whole time. The hotel was modest but charming. The window in our room was wet and drafty and I got a little sick but this probably wouldn’t have been an issue at a different time of year. Nice place.

This hotel was an absolute gem! We stayed in a very comfortable room with a breathtaking view of the plains of Spain and the town castle. The bathroom was recently remodeled. The hotel employees could not have been more hospitable. The restaurant was great for lunch and breakfast.

This hotel was extremely cozy and beautiful. The view from the room was spectacular both, towards the castle and towards the foot of the hill. For those wanting to visit Marveo and the castle the location is perfect. Delicious breakfast. Highly recommended.

I did NOT like paying 105 eueo per room for 2 rooms with a MOUNTAIN VIEW and put into 2 rooms with NO view except looking down into the yard ,i complained on leaving But got the fob off ,so good bye dom manuel hotel ,John Cunniffe

Lovely room, comfy king size bed, perfect location with free parking in front, nice little balcony with jaw dropping views from two sides, family operation very professionally run. Manual and Celeste are accommodating and finely attuned to client service.

Manuel and Celeste are wonderful hosts, who run a professional family operation and personally went out of their way to fulfill my request for a kettle. Pretty, pristine and nicely renovated room (superior King with balcony and castle view), with killer views from both windows.
