This facility is great. The ambiance is so enjoyable. Outside firepit highlights the area. We have stayed there 3 times and plan on going back, would recommend others to plan a stay there too.

Trickling waters is a beautiful, peaceful retreat nestled in the bluffs of the Mississippi River. The room was clean and well stocked. There is a fire pit and hot tub available for use. My only suggestion is that the room needs to be updated. The furniture and appliances are dated. However, we really enjoyed our stay and will return.

It was very clean and outside areas were nice. The bed was too soft. I was able to get in my room but had trouble connecting with the owner to pay. Did not see him until I was ready to leave in the morning

Much needed getaway

We found Trickling Waters very relaxing and enjoyable. There were many birds to watch and listen to. The location is very convenient to many sites to see. We really enjoyed our stay and plan on returning!

Solitude and quiet was nice. Beautiful landscaping and plants and flowers. Loved the fish pond and water fall. The rustic look of the pine lodge room we stayed in was great!

The owner is very demanding and will yell at you from the porch until you come over and scratch him behind the ears. Oh and the bed was pretty comfy.

Hotter than normal I'm sure, but the AC could be a bit stronger. Kept the adjoining room cool, bedroom eventually cooled down. Overall a great location and price. Better than staying across the river in a chain hotel.

Great place to stay

Beautiful location, great room, lots of towels in the bathroom, AC was perfect, fireplace was stocked with wood and the hot tub was always turned on. Wonderful place to stay for a weekend visit to the area.
