Absolutely superb, gorgeous room with a bathroom larger than most bedrooms. A comfy sofa in a bay window overlooking lovely gardens and so peaceful. Lots of thoughtful touches and a brilliant breakfast.

Gem of a place

Delightful place and Claire was a fabulous host. We arrived late and a bit frazzled but woke up feeling refreshed and rather spoilt in our very lovely room and after a wonderful breakfast. We will definitely be back.

Very enjoyable short stay on business

A very pleasant stay in a small but very comfortable beautifully presented B & B run by a very nice family. There are only a few rooms and there is off street parking available. The room was very spacious, had tea and coffee making facilities, TV, Wi-Fi was available and everywhere was very clean. A lovely freshly cooked breakfast was very nice including hot and cold drinks, cereals and fruit. It was very quiet and in a nice part of the village. There was a nice local pub serving very nice food just a couple of minutes walk away. A very enjoyable short stay.

Good base location

5 days with good breakfast and cheery host. The only issue which is symptom of old stone buildings was nowhere to plug devices in. Finally found a power board under the bed. But minor issue.

Claire was very welcoming. The room was spacious and clean with a view of the beautiful garden. She did a typical English breakfast which was delicious with fresh fruit and other goodies. I would recommend.

Cstle farmhouse

The guesthouse was very clean,the owner was friendly the food was very nice and the location was ideal for visiting rhe county of Rutland. I would recommend this guest house to anyone whinis looking for a short getaway
