"We enjoyed our stay here even though it was very short. We arrived past midnight and we were heading to Hilton Head, SC but we wanted to see Savannah. We paid the ridiculous $50 parking fee because otherwise you had to find street parking which was also expensive. We missed breakfast because we were tired so I can't comment on the food. We did have some good help from the concierge to plan some things to do and get some tickets. We talked with the valet about our car since it had to be checked out by 3. We called to get it pulled out which is what they told us to do to avoid paying another day's parking. Sadly we were charged anyways so we ended up being charged $100 for parking and we were not even there close to 24 hours. They had a ton of space so it wasn't because they needed the spot. The hotel itself was nice and centrally located to get to the hop on/hop off bus without too long of a walk. Beautiful city!"

"Before walking in front door, there was a pile of someone's personal belongings stacked up as if someone was kicked out. Then door is locked. You need room key or someone to buzz you in. Front desk clerk was checking in someone else and couldn't get to door so another guest used their key to let us in. Clerk was extremely slow during check in process. Lobby had broken tiles on floor and overall looked like an older, unkempt property. We got up to 2nd floor room and it was not much better. Dried toothpaste in sink and room felt dingy. I'm not particular and it was only for one night. It served its purpose in that we had a place to shower and sleep. However as my daughter just moved to the area and we plan to visit often, I know I will not be staying here again."

"I check in at or around 7:00pm, did the necessary paperwork and received my keys to the room. we put our items in the room and drove to TYBEE ISLAND where we enjoyed the beach and bought souvenirs. after that we had dinner. we returned to the hotel and decided to take a bath and shower. we could not get the hot water to work in the shower, so I call the desk, I spoke to the gentleman that was on duty and explained the problem we was having. He said you have to pull the handle out and then you will get hot water, I stated to him that is what I did and there no hot water coming out. he stated it again that you have to pull the handle out and then choose what you want, I stated to him that I will try it again and call him back. tried it again and it was the same problem I call the desk back and explain the same to him, that there was no hot water coming out of the spout. He stated that you will have to call tomorrow morning because there was no one on duty, I ask the clerk why I have to wait until the tomorrow when we want to clean ourselves now. This rep. hung up on me while I was talking, very disrespecting. I call the desk again and he didn't I have never visited an establishment, where there were no one to handle an emergency at this. We had to use the lavatory to wash off. I paid for service and feel as if they did' provide it. I ask the clerk for the manager number and name, his response was you didn't book this stay with so uou will have to make your complaint with the"
