Clim HS et service nul

Clim en panne. Nous avons du dormir dans un autre hotel à nos frais. La responsable nous a expliquer que les techniciens n'étaient pas disponibles pour réparer la clim mais a refuser de nous rebourser la chambre.

Poor start but got better

check in poor as reception was closed on sunday. They said they tried to contact us but failed to get through. Eventually got code for security gate and code to get room key from safe. Floor of our room very noisy. On the plus side nice heated outdoor pool and great hamman. Staff very apologetic next day

The accommodation was good. It would be helpful if we had been told that we would need to provide some cleaning items and the town of Marans whilst it could be much prettier and has great potential this is not being utilised and there are very few places where you can get a meal. It was useful that there is a Super U very close by.

Logement agréable mais vieillissant.

Logement agréable, de bonne dimension, piscine propre et sauna en accès libre. Mais l'ensemble est vieillissant et mal entretenu (pied de table de cuisine casé, serrure forcée, donc porte condamnée ! L'entrée de notre logement pour 4 se faisait donc par notre chambre..., applique de la chambre cassée, ampoule HS dans le salon, lames de terrasse en bois très abîmées, etc). Le hammam ne fonctionne pas. Pour y passer une nuit je recommande ce logement car le prix est intéressant, mais pour une semaine je conseille de demander les logements restaurés (il y en a plusieurs)!

Spacious accomodation

We arrived after the opening hours, when we phoned the staff for arrangement they were very helpful and organised so we could enterthe premises and collect keys. This was no trouble. We spent a week in a well equipped gite. The place was quiet and the atmosphere relax. Close to the supermarket and the town centre, the river to book a boat trip. Thank you so much park and suites La Rochelle.

Great complex near La Rochelle, good size apartment, very clean. Peaceful, free parking, great swimming pool, sauna and steam room. Situated next to supermarket. Only shame is no evening entertainment, but would stay again.

Fantastic place

We had a great overnight stay here on the way from Calais to our destination further south. The apartment was really clean, very comfy beds and everything you could need in a small kitchen. Our apartment slept 6 ; a double bed, bunk beds in a separate room and a small double sofa bed which we didn’t use. The pool area was very clean. Pool was heated and there were lots of sun beds available. My husband used the sauna and steam room which were free of charge, and said they were great! We enjoyed a stroll around the little town, stopped off at the super u which is about 50m from the hotel to stock up on dinner items, and then sat by the river which is on the doorstep with a bottle of wine. A really lovely stay :)

Etablissement agréable.

Les appartements sont très propres et très agréable, il y a tout le confort nécessaire et un magasin à proximité. De plus l’établissement se trouve en dehors du village qui celui ci est très agréable également.

Needs renovation/modernisation

All beds weren’t made upon arrival, the wooden deck and outside stairs felt very insecure and in big need of renovation. WiFi was non-existing. Without any ac in the bedrooms a summer stay here is quite challenging. Impossible to shut the light out with only some small curtains that didn’t even prevent other guests to look straight into the bed in the master bedroom during the night(!!!). The pool was the best thing as it is really big and seems very new and fresh. According to hotels.com they offer the possibility of breakfast (for an extra charge) but in the reception they said no such thing was available.

Good hotel with facilities

We stayed here for 2 nights. The room was quite large as there was a lounge/dining area/kitchenette with fridge, dishwasher, hob and microwave, 2 bedrooms and shower/wc room. You need to remember to clean the kitchen area before you leave, as well as remove used bed linen, but the staff were lovely and helpful, and gave us all the info when we checked in on what we needed to do before we left. There is a Super U supermarket a couple of mins walk so easy to buy your own food rather than eat out. The hotel has a large outside heated pool, sauna, steam room and small gym. We used the pool and steam room (good for your health!) and gym. My only minor "issue" is that the gym could have better equipment, as there are only 5 pieces of very old and tired equipment (2 x exercise bikes, 2 x steppers and a rowing machine) and not all worked as expected. No free weights, bench, dumbells, barbells etc. If more modern and varied equipment were provided it would be great. Free parking and wifi, although we had trouble getting the wifi to work and in the end just used our mobile data. So apart from the wifi and gym equipment, overall a good stay and we would go there again.

Séjour agréable

Studio tout équipé (frigo, plaques cuisson, couverts, lave-vaisselle) avec un supermarché juste à coté pour faire ses courses donc plutôt pratique. Le studio était très propre, le seul reproche que j'aurais à faire serais sur la qualité de la literie qui était plutôt moyenne.
