「Great beach view, clean, spacious. It was a great place to visit 」

「the shower facility could be better. Customer need to pay for shower, and the time allow you to take shower is really short.(50 cents for about 5 mins.) The receptionist is very kind to customers. She is very professional.」

「The on-property host and manager, Valery, made the stay phenomenal; he is also a professional chef and will cook you breakfast and dinner each day using fresh and local ingredients. The property has direct access to a very private beach and offers 2 kayaks and a paddle board for you to use when desired. The views from each room are stunning with the penthouse having the best setup, followed by the jacuzzi room and then cozy room which has a Bowers & Wilkins surround sound setup. You also have...

「Lodge by the Beach was one of the most memorable lodgings we’ve ever stayed in. Designed and built by the architect-owner, Alan with industrial grade materials for safety and various art pieces brought in from overseas, the property is truly amazing. 「This place is perfection! The location, decor, service, food, drink, attentiveness to your comfort was impeccable. We stayed for 3 nights in the Jacuzzi Suite and the owners, Alan & Luba, made feel instantly at home. 」

「Host is so friendly and trust he should spend a lot of time to perfect the motel facilities」

「房间很干净，大小也合适，院子里的多肉开得格外好。很温馨。就是离马路太近，稍微有点吵。」

「Great spot for our overnight stay. Easy walk to restaurants & supermarket」

「Worst place to stay! After a 30 day trip in all of NZ this was the worst. The food was terrible, the customer service unacceptable. I would do a day hike in the park and have the water taxi take you back to Kaiteriteri 」

「Lovely staff. Had single room which was comfortable and warm. However the smell of weed from guests who appeared to be long-term Sawyers was a put off. Seems like the hostel is like a emergency accommodation place . The hostel policy is no drugs so these guests and the area they smoke in near carpark in a shed area needs sorting. Not acceptable at all.」

「We enjoy a lot the time at the rocks. The bath tube outside was very nice and own glowworm caves was the hit. The hosts were every helpful and friendly」

「Tastefully decorated rooms. Pool and spa available. Small establishment so felt quite private. Staff always avaliable and very friendly and helpful. Across the road from the beach.」

「Incredible location and lodging! Steve was knowledgeable about the area, committed to environmental sustainability, welcoming and makes amazing pizza! Highly recommend and we will return!」

「Lovely stay in one of the waterfront cabins. Staff were super helpful and facilities were modern and clean.」
