Best location in Mantova

Fantastic hotel in a fantastic location! We had a room facing the busy public square. The soundproofing was amazing!!! Nice sized room that was super comfortable. We liked it so much, we extended our stay :) The restaurant downstairs was incredible also.

Hotel is right across the courtyard from the Royal Palace and a short walk from most of the other sites one would want to visit as a tourist. Rooms were good sized and well-appointed with great bed and well-outfitted bathrooms. Staff were helpful in recommending restaurants nearly and answering other tourist-related questions. Definitely a good place to stay for its location although about 15 minute walk away from the train station.

Excellent location, great customer service. My room was very comfortable, superb bed! The bathroom was nice and big, however it'd need a better clean, especially the shower area. The drain smelled and there was mould around the basin. The toiletries were pretty basic, no hair conditioner. It would be nice to have a glass in the room not just plastic cups.

Definitely stay in this piazza

This is THE place to stay! This piazza is the main place in the whole of Mantua, and you'll be right next to everything. I was charmed to find myself in a room the size of an apartment, with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. I was less than charmed to find out that the Italian passion for saving energy meant that the washing machine and stove are turned off unless one stays for a month. I thought I was in a loft, but it turned out I could hear the people above me rearranging furniture until late each night, but other than that, it was charming and perfect.

superb hotel I only wished that the trattoria had been open during our stay. Mantova is a beautiful city and the Palazzo Ducale a real gem. I highly recommend a visit.

Disappointing! I was in shock when I saw my room. It was nothing like you expect in 4* hotel. Small, finished poorly- even IKEA furniture would look luxurious, paper cups for tea, no one near the entrance to fell with luggage. Breakfast simply sloshing- nothing to eat. No healthy options/ cheep chess, over fatty salami, even fruits were shady tittering. Location was central, but my main interest was Palazzo Te, and it was 30 minutes walk or Euro 15 taxi ride. Do not recommend. They gave me a gift card with 10 per cent discount for the caffe that was permanently closed. That did not go well with me too.

The room was nice and spacious - but £30 for the breakfast buffet was robbery. It was less than abundant. I arrived at 9:00 and there was one croissant left, no meats, no cheeses, and the scraps of the local pastries. Frankly I should ask for a refund…

Palazzo storico rinnovato con accesso dalla Piazza, ideale per visita della città o eventi. Nonostante prenotata 7 mesi prima ho avuto una stanza essenziale e basica con vista muro, un po' buia, con bagno cieco, ma per un soggiorno breve può andar bene. Agradável e charmosa Mantova!

Um lindo palácio sendo recuperado no centro de Mantova! Quartos bem decorados e novos! Faltava uma poltrona no quarto que ficamos hospedados! O quarto da minha filha era para ser um quarto de solteiro e virou um apartamento com 2 quartos, sala e cozinha! Achei falta de uma cobertura em vidro no pátio central, isso daria ao espaço unidade e um lindo jardim de inverno!
