「The staff were so hospitable and the breakfast was amazing! Our shower nozzle was a little messed up and the doors seemed to have needed some maintenance but it wasn’t too bad. We enjoyed our stay greatly and would come back again!」

「I stayed here in the early 1980s, when I was in my early teens. It has been upgraded since then, but still provided that wonderful nostalgic feeling I had when I first visited the Outer Banks! I wanted my kids to experience this as well, so we booked a room for several days. We stayed in a courtyard room, which was still very quiet and comfortable, despite being next to the entrance drive. Unlike most beach motels, parking was NEVER an issue! We always had a spot close to the room. The room...

The only downside was the shower—it was quite small. It was just large enough to stand in, so it might feel a bit cramped for bigger guests. 「It was a nice stay. The room was nice bathroom clean. My problem was there wasnt a person in house most of the time. There was a kiosk in the lobby. Thats how business was conducted. If you had a nonstandard question there was no quick answer. English was not the first language. The accents were very difficult to understand over a speaker. My card was doubled billed. It was not corrected.」
