Our air conditioner was not operating properly when we arrived. The staff was exceptionally helpful and changed the unit quickly. The room was cool and comfortable by the time we returned from a family gathering. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The room was quiet, and the shower was refreshing. My husband is in a wheelchair. The ramp to go down to our room was crowded with a spare wheelchair, vacuum and 4 toilets that we had to maneuver around. The handicapped room was not even big enough to get the wheelchair across the room.

Our stay was disappointing overall. Although this is a non-smoking hotel, the room had a strong smoke smell that was difficult to tolerate. The odor was so pervasive that even the clothes in our suitcases smelled like smoke after our stay. The TV remote was also broken, and the room felt humid despite the air conditioning running, which made it less comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and we appreciated their kindness. However, for the price we paid, we expected a cleaner, fresher-smelling room and better maintenance. Unfortunately, the smoke odor had the biggest impact on our stay and would make us hesitant to return.

There is no elevator, which is not a huge deal for me… but if you have issues with stairs, buckle up because cause there is no access to any rooms from the lobby without stairs or a maze of a handicap ramp. The lower floor smelled like weed, which is probably not the fault of the property, but…
