I chose This Alcoves property because of price. Guess, the lower price point should not make me expect a lot. I liked how the management respond quickly to the requests I made. If there’s a chance to update this unit, it couldn’t come early enough as now. The place is close to Glorietta, increasing the rent due to updating is reasonable.

Comfortable apartment in Makati CBD

Comfortable apartment 5min walk from Greenbelt. Good amenities and wifi, easy check in. We had a weekend staycation, but would recommend for anyone taking a few days vacation or doing business in the CBD. I was amazed at the number of restaurants in these quiet streets - irish pub, japanese, tex-mex, pizza and more all with a few minutes walk, plus 2 convenience stores.

The overall stay was alright. The property was quite old, very far from the pictures advertised but still good although I think they have to check on the cleanliness. 1. The cupboard had leftover chips which we had to chuck ourselves 2. Fridge top was covered with dust 3. Microwave had some pasta sauce or whatever that was stain. We had to clean them as well. 4. There were rubbish left in the bathroom ie empty tubes of face wash and toothpaste Looks like the cleaner/s have missed a lot of spots that I was a little skeptical on the cleanliness of the bedsheets. We only had to stay few days and were almost always out and busy so we couldn’t be bothered contacting the property manager. Also, the electric gas stove would not work when 2 plates were being used. I reckon the machines a little old. Some good points: very accessible and is right in the middle of the city, close to greenbelt, church, hospital, shops, restaurants, etc, Wifi was fast, pool was not very busy and also there was a gym in the building. Looks very secured too as there was security till late. Overall stay was alright but needs improvement.

Can’t beat this location.. quieter area, less than 5min walk to Greenbelt mall and good restaurants around! Unit condition more than pleasant.. could use more lighting in bathroom area and a sink upgrade. Other than this, we were very pleased!
