Awful rooms, great staff

Positive: Staff is very friendly, pro-active and helpful, even for Myanmar standards. Breakfast is pretty good with the usual rice, noodles, fried vegetables, soup, rubber bread, eggs, bananas. Rooms have mosquito meshing. Negative: The rooms are awful. They are dated and in desperate need for a make-over (when did they last paint?!), especially the bath rooms. Cleaning is very superficial. I was careful what to touch and pretty engrossed. Rooms are so small, I can't see how 2 people would fit into the double room. Location is far away from bus terminal (ab 30 min taxi) but close to jetty. The hotel is on the dodgy end of town. Lots of beer restaurants (full of men and rather disgusting), street food options are unpleasant and nowhere near the (cleanliness and taste) standard of the rest of the country.

本当に良かった

部屋も綺麗でお湯もしっかり出るし、Wi-Fiは繋がるし、何よりもスタッフの方々がとても優しく、相談もすぐに対応して下さり、こちらのホテルは気持ち良く過ごせるところでした。また、泊まりたいと思えるホテルです。

Nice cost-benefit

The cost-benefit was very good. Although a simple place (don't expect luxury) it's very charming and the staff were very concerned about making our staying as good as possible. There's always someone in the front desk with a good english to help you and give you some tips.

Very great experience !!!

The best thing of our stay was the staff. They have been kind, helpful, and made us feel at home. We booked a cooking class with the Chef and all the hotel staff helped to make it perfect for us. Seriously, the best hotel staff ever ! The room was great too. The bed waa comfy. We had a fridge, water, kettle and free coffee. Maybe the bathroom needs a bit more cleaning... The buffet breakfast was amazing. But get up early because at the end (between 6-9am), there almost nothing left !

Thanks for the upgrade appreciated it. However it felt like a downgrade. Room was next to stare case, could hear AC dropping whole night. Bathroom is a disaster, mouldy ceiling, water is not draining properly, tiles are very dirty. Bathroom was a big let down. Staff however are excellent and super friendly. Shame about the room.

Très bon hôtel. Personnel adorable.

Gutes günstiges hotel in mandalay

Der service vom hotel ist super klasse, kommen einem entgegen und helfen wo sie können, leider ist es zurzeit under construction. Da kommt es zeitweise ein bisschen zu lärm, aber die halten diesen zurück wo sie können!! Ansonsten sind die zimmer super und die betten bequem!

Bit far from the central attractions but they do provide free bicycles so you can go to those attractions without renting any taxis or tuktuk. One thing I couldn't figure out from the room is how the hot shower works. It seems both knobs are for hot water. The staff here are friendly and helpful.

泊まるだけなら全く問題なし。 あと、冷蔵庫もある。

場所がとにかく便利。 BTSの駅やコンビニやデパート近く ホテル内部は 冷房が温度調節無しのオンオフのみで、つけっぱだと寒くなりすぎいちいちオンオフの為にベッドから出ないといけないのが面倒。 音がうるさくなれないと不快に思うかもしれません。 シャワーの先に洗面とトイレがあり、シャワーした後は足元が濡れるので、気になる人はスリッパ持参が必要。 フェイスタオル、歯ブラシ、歯磨き粉、ドライヤーはありません。 小さな冷蔵庫があります。

Disappointing.

Close to the worst hotel I have stayed in. The room was small and dingy, bathroom terrible so I declined to use the shower especially as it was one if those that have no separate area but just wet the whole floor. Only two power outlets and only one of them worked. No toilet paper so had to go to reception to get some. However. the staff were very nice and helpful.

Central location - Good for a short stay

Friendly staff, but hotel room could be cleaner. Walls are quite dirty and should be painted or at least washed. It is an old building with a lack of electrical plugs in the rooms. Internet connection only works in the common areas, but it is not a major problem. Apart from that, the bed was comfortable and clean, and the staff pleasant and accommodating. It is an okay place for a short term stay.

Отель очень дешёвый. Терраса отличная. Хорошо расположен. Приятные работники. Удаются, помогают. Но их не научили следить за порядком. В номерах очень-очень грязно. Чувствуется, что в отеле нет хозяина. По этой причине я бы выбрал другой отель в следующую поездку.

Good budget hotel. Staff very helpful & pleasant.

Rooms are clean & fairly spacious with comfortable. beds. Hotel staff are eager to help, always pleasant and front desk staff as well as some other staff , speak English which was very helpful for me. they provide a decent breakfast buffet although I would have liked more fresh fruit options. One of the front desk afternoon managers is also a graduate tour guide, so I booked him on his time off ( plus a driver) for a day trip to see all the sites. He was terrific - very knowledgeable re history & all the sites, has excellent English skills and took the time to explain everything. I highly recommend him if you are thinking of a tour.
