We were surprised to find that the room did not have a bathroom and it was actually shared by many rooms. For the price we paid, I would have expected not to be sharing a bathroom. Apart from that misunderstanding, the room was fine. There was tea and coffee provided but only one mug. The staff member was nice and provided items we asked for like towels, soap, iron. It was a learning experience for us that in future to make sure to know what you’re getting before booking. All in all, was pleasant.

The reception staff was very kind and responsive. Other guests were quiet and respectful. I wasn't aware before checking in that this has shared bathroom, but it was reasonably clean so I wasn't bothered. Aldi was a 10 min walk, and there were many buses going to the city centre. The only thing is that my room smelled quite bad - I could smell urine-like odour from one of the walls all the time (I left the windows open 24 hours and I could still smell it), and despite the bedsheets and pillowcase being clean the mattress and pillow itself had strong smells of someone else's sweat. There were no bugs though.
